|Editing Personal and Notification Settings
The email address used for email function in HuskyCT and for notifications coming from HuskyCT is set by default to the user’s uconn.edu email address. To be sure you do not miss any critical information sent by the instructor, it is essential that you check your email frequently. It is your responsibility to insure that you are receiving all class communications.
While it is possible for users to change the email address that is used by the HuskyCT “Email” tool and for the emailed notifications, this should be done cautiously. Entering an invalid email address or an email account you check infrequently may prevent you from seeing essential communications.
HuskyCT users can also adjust their notification settings. These settings determine how notifications are received and what activity on the site triggers notifications.
These settings are accessed through the “Global Navigation Menu” which appears in the upper right-hand corner of the screen in HuskyCT.
The red square with a number indicates the total number of notifications available.
